Your CV is being scanned for keywords

If you are applying for a job online, a large number of recruiters will be using technology to scan your CV for the keywords of the particular job requirement.

Don't get rejected by ignoring this growing trend.

It's really easy to fix, when you see a job advert that interests you, review the advert and write down the keywords or skills the advertiser is looking for and litter your CV with those words. Obviously these words need to be backed up by achievements so that once you have got past the initial CV scanning process, the reader can quickly see what you have achieved in relation to those key skills.

Before you apply for any job, take the time to review the ad and write down the key skills/words that the advertiser is using, it could mean the difference between progressing to the next stage and rejection.
