2012 - what will it mean for you?

It has been a pleasure not to have read or watched any media over the Christmas and New Year break. I feel positive, as I don't have the TV or the newspaper telling me how bad things are, or how bad things are going to get.

I watched the news this morning, and it was depressing. All these predictions of doom and gloom for 2012.

I think it's worth pointing out that despite all these depressing predictions, 2012 will very much depend on you. It could be your worst year or your best year ever.

You are in control.

Here are a few things to consider which could determine how 2012 turns out for you:

1. What if you stayed away from negative, moaning people this year?

2. What if you cut out mainstream media this year?

3. What if you started to appreciate what you have, rather than what you don't have?

4. What if you started to accept that we are now living in changing times and embraced this as part of re-inventing yourself and your career?

5. What if you listened to yourself and your own instinct, instead of other people's?

The truth is, no-one can predict what will happen this year, not even the so called experts. Take control and make 2012 your year.
